good news for da owners:how to mod g3 sideskirts

Post by deetz »

Here are some pictures showing where to cut G3 sideskirts in order to get them to fit on our beloved G2's

Tools I used:
--Box Cutter (a sharp one)
--large pliers (to pull the clips off after i lightly cut into them)
--straight edge (to make sure you cut a nice STRAIGHT line for a cleaner look)
--Sand paper (for the finishing touch to make it look O.E.)
--sheet metal screws (for mounting silly )
--Industrial double sided tape (to place it before you screw it on)

REMEMBER: when cutting off the overhang...leave about 1/8th -1/4 of an inch of overhang!!!

go here for pictures of the final result!
