Water leak?
So on my 98 teg, in the last 2 months, I have found the driver front floor to be soaked after rain twice now. What should I be looking for?? Has this happened to anyone else? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Water leak?
Watch the area from inside the vehicle while someone quickly pours a 5-gallon bucket of water over it on the outside. This is usually more effective than squirting the area with a hose.
Check the accumulated water. If the accumulated water is dirty, look for leaks from the underside of the vehicle (floor, wheelwells, etc.). If the accumulated water is clean, look for leaks from the top side of the vehicle (trunk seal, windshield, roof strips, etc.).
There are a few possible causes. Check the moon roof seal, frame and headliner for signs of water overflowing and running down the A-Pillar. Inspect the moon roof drain tubes and valves in the A-Pillars and C-Pillars for blockage or kinks. Check the door seal for signs of damage or areas where it doesn't make a good seal. Check the plastic protective cover behind the door panel of tears or areas where adhesive has separated. Have someone run water down the driver's side of the windshield and cowl area and watch for leaks around the windshield seals and side panel to firewall seal.
These are the most common areas for leaks. Try checking those things and let us know what you find.
