NOTE: Gateway 8/5 Cancelled Due To Heat!

The regular Street Car Shootout Series event for Tuesday, August 5th, 2008, at Gateway International Raceway in Madison, IL, has been cancelled due to the forecasted high temperature of 100 degrees. The SCSS will resume on Tuesday, August 12th.

By the way, GIR's new policy of cancelling races when the forecasted high temperature is 99 degrees or higher is based solely on the KTVI FOX2 forecast located at http://www.myfoxstl.com/myfox/pages/Weather .
