Gateway regulations?

Post by 02Type-S »

So my girlfriend's Dad wants to bring one of his toys to MM on the 13th but I have a few questions..

Its a 2007 Corvette ZO6......which does 11.3 bone stock. Its not stock. It has CAI, headers, full exhaust, electronic dumps, and CCW wheels that are 18x9 up front and 19x13 in the back. SO if he can drive it, its an easy 10 second car.

What will he need to do to run up there? Helmet? Cage?

Anything 12.99 and under needs a helmet. I dont know when cages kick in. Ask mike93hatch, hes been booted off a few tracks in his day.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you need a cage if you're 11.99 or faster.
Ribs. I had ribs for lunch, that's why I'm doing this.

Man that would be dumb, that would mean even if his car was still stock he would still need a cage

Even if he did he would only get the chance to run like 3 or 4 times with all the cars there...
