My 88 Targa Probe project

Got her for 300 bux. Needs some work but is coming along slowly.

For those who are going to ask the wheels are 17 inch 04-05 TL wheels. Which fit nicely. Though I need wider tires on them. But for 80 bux with 8 tires I wasnt going to pass on them!

For now she came lowered with what looks like eibach springs on bilstein shocks tinted windows. Some kind of custom exhaust. lol oh and Snake eyes which are getting replaced with stock windshield washer nozzles :icon_bigg

Shes got a long way to go but heres to the start of a new project.

Definitely needs some work in here. But some patience some recovering some dying and a new dash and I will be well on my way.

We are only waiting on an oil pump to be able to put her back together for now as a DD. But not a bad start. She does need some paint and I will be getting around to that.
Keep in mind she hasnt seen a real wash and cleaning yet. I just quickly sprayed the dirt and bird droppings off of her for the most part lol

what are the plans? i love mk3's almost as much as mk4's. hopefully some sort of xJZ swap?

Definitely agreed. But the rear will also be getting wider tires which will help. 235/45/17 is a bit small back there.

Honestly I will not be going the 1-1.5-2JZ route. She will either go 7MGTE (factory turbo 7m) or she will be going 1UZ (4.0L V8) just honestly depends on which I run across first. Right now just waiting on a guy to pick up the cordia's engine then spending money hopefully on the new dash door panels taillights. Then the next paycheck goes to a 1UZ core or a 7MGTE core.

She will be up and running as soon as I get an oil pump. But she will never be finished lol

1uz is not a bad choice. im not too big of a fan of the 7m though.
