My 2004 GTO pics (wheels/ suspension/ more)

Post by slammin86 »

Here are some pictures of my 2004 Pontiac GTO. It is a 6 speed w/ around 40K miles on it. Never drove in snow or ice. I bought it new in 2004 and have done the following.

Flowmaster catback
Resonator delete
GMM Ripshift
JHP Maf Pipe
Factory shift light activation
Walmart catch can
TB Bypass
PBR Big Brake Kit
Stock 18's Powdercoated black
245 45 18 KDW2 rear, 235 45 18 front
King springs/ monroe struts/ superpro strut top and front and rear radius rod bushings. Drop is rated at 2" front and I believe 1.5" rear.
Genuine AutoX Grills
VX Tails
5% tint sides and back, 45% entire windshield
Spoiler delete

Have an energy suspension master bushing kit in garage that I will install when it warms up.

Looks good. Not a huge fan of the red interior in those cars, but looks good low on black wheels and I like the taillights. Nice car for sure.

Hows the wheel hop with that suspension set up?
I accidentally the Fleshlight.

Looks good, only thing left to do is smoke the taillights, everything else is blacked out, why not them...

The tails cost too much to cover them up. They aren't stock tails.

The stiffer rear springs helped. I suspect that my energy suspension kit will help a lot more.

My dad has an Torrid Red M6 '04, he has the BMR drag bags in the rear and they helped out A LOT. The hop is still there a little, but they make a huge difference. They did make the back of the car a little higher and Im not sure if they work with aftermarket springs, but I know that is one of the big deals with these cars and the IRS.

And yeah, dont cover up those pretty tail lights. I love them things on there lol. Way better than stock.

I was able to get a 1.97 60 ft time with this suspension on street tires. The subframe bushings and rear control arm bushings are supposed to help also.
