I guess it's time for an introduction [insert generic sort of cute/funny 56k warning]

Some of you know that I recently traded my hatch (the new owner posted a thread here already), but I haven't been too public about what I traded for, but since it made an appearance at BBT and the cruise this weekend, I figured it's about time I posted a thread. The car is no stranger to this board, it was previously owned (loved) by Justin, Black94sol, before he traded it to the guy who I picked it up from.

It's a 94 S model with a d16y7 swap
I (whalepenis)/H (airmass)/"E"(2in piping to a vibrant muffler)
coilovers and KYB struts
JDM 1pc headlights w/ HID kit
JDM 3bar steering wheel
JDM lower foglight bezels
and I put a shifter/knob in it, and a Comptech subframe brace (swaybar/suspension overhaul coming soon)

Pics of when it came home 2ish weeks ago:

(pay no attention to the hatch behind the curtain, hahaha)

and this weekend is the first time I have attempted to experiment with HDR

so far, I am reporting about 37 hard-driven miles per gallon on 87 octane gas compared to the 28-30mpg I was getting on 93octane in the other car... so yeah, I would say I am happy with the trade I made, I'd rather be really slow and have a little cash than broke and slightly less slow.

needs paint, and some TLC, but I am much happier in the sol than I was in the hatch. I have plans for it that include changing a lot of things; it should be my most comprehensive build yet (hell, its the first car in 3 years I actually feel like keeping for a while). so, I will update as I go.

thanks for looking

It will be resprayed Granada Black Pearl... whoever sprayed the car last didn't use much gold flake, so it just kind of looks like straight black, not really very granada-y

hahaha. yeah, I have been trying to get one for a looong time man... the tough part has been finding one that isn't torn all to hell and back. All the nice ones have nice big pricetags, and all the cheaper ones look like they were used by Ray Charles in a few Demolition Derbies.
