Yeah, the Civette. He also did something similar recently with a WRX, but lost the AWD aspect of it. I figured it'd take a lot of time/money to do it, but every time I see a Teg, I can't help but feel that car in particular would've been better as a RWD car. IDK why, it's just something that crosses my mind.

I'll try to find that issue and check out those articles guys, thanks.

The EM1 wasn't the first, I'm sure we have all seen the vid of the EG6 in Japan with the S2000 swap that is used for drifting now. Very clean car and a fun idea and something different... not sure how practical it actually is though.

I'd rock it though for fun.

Also, The Acura RL like I have should have been RWD.
I'm still a neighborhood ASSHOLE!

Not a s2000, but very detailed none the less. The work and the outcome are top notch.

Weirtech's crx with a s2000 motor/trans. I don't think he is quite done, but its getting close.

I don't think it would be hard to do with the right tools.

Honda's to me, are just everything thing i could ever want. I've owned 4, since age 15 and now i'm 21. Two eg hatch's and two dc integra's.

Pretty much the most popular honda chassis.

What I can break my love for these cars down to is a few things, Looks, Afford ability, ease of maintenance, and just the fun of driving them.

My friends are all into cars, we all come from different backrounds and different taste's in cars, some have diesel trucks, v8 domestic cars and about all the different import makes you can think of. As for me, i'm the honda kid. Most of them are into going fast, but thats really never been a priority for me. Not sure why, i've had a motor swap and that was plenty fun and i've ridden in some fast cars but i've never had the urge or the want to build my own speed demon.

However i do love suspension. which could be the reason these cars a perfect for me. they aren't that fast but they handle great if set up correctly. So this year i've been autocrossing on a regular basis and doing rather well, so it reinforces what i'm doing and makes me more motivated. A well handling car is just plain fun to drive, i let a lot of people drive it and they like it a lot. some of them who drive far superior cars.

I'm still in the process of setting up the car but i'm having the most fun doing it. The downsides is yes, its FWD. And i have terrible rust. but as long as a car has a purpose and functions well for what it does, it has my respect. and i hope people feel the same way when they see my car.

I do however have loud exhaust, but i love it. haha i guess its my ricer side coming out but i love my Apexi N1.

In the future i want to try out a miata or an e30 bmw. something rwd.

I mod my Integra because its affordable. I used to have a Chevelle back in the day and couldn't afford to do what I wanted to it so I sold it and bought a truck as that was more practical at the time. I needed to be able to tow things and what not without having to borrow a truck. Later when I got a better paying job I wanted to get back into cars but wanted something that I could mod to handle like a spotrs car should. The integra was a great platform to start with and now it pretty much handles like I wanted it to and I love driving it. Im more of a twisties fan than a straight line.

I do have a "fart can exhaust" by most deffinitions. Its a greddy EVO2 cat back and has like a 4 or 5 inch tip. Does it get annoying from time to time? Yes, but the one exhaust I really want (Mugen twin loop) is about 500 used and I can not justify that price for a used exhaust for a honda so I deal with what I have.
