headgasket???

Okay so when I got home from school I tried to start the car for the hell of it and it started no problem. Could it have something to do with not being touched for a prolonged period of time? But I will shut it off and restart it and update you people.

okay shut the car off and restarted it once warm and it stared fine but when given more than 1/2 throttle it bogs and misfires.

check the tps sensor, map sensor, and connections going to the tps and map.

OKay will do. and I just found out that my gas cap was loose would that effect it at all? usaully that would send a CEL though.

Did you ever check into the resistance of the ignition coil?

I don't know how to test that. And steve came over to help with the car and we got it started 4 times 1 time ran fine, 2 and 3 times bogged at start but idled fine, 4 time ran a little rough but gave it 1/4 throttle and it almost died and shot smoke out the TB. timing is fine, but the spark plugs are black (looks like carbon buildup).

A check engine light finally came on, so I need to get it read.

There was also a horrible hesitation...basically, if you flick the t/b open the motor doesn't rev right away like it should, it lags for a second.
