i like simple, if i do get them they will 16" so i can use the tires i have. im also looking at tein springs 1.5" drop i think those two things would really make this thing, hot fiya :Eyecrazy:99preludesh;8364 wrote:Those wheels are very simple and I like the look of them a lot.

Yes im a big fan of simple as well and I think 17's may look a bit big no that for some reason so deffinetly 16's would look good.
I also have the tein lowering springs with the 1.9 in the front and 1.5 in the back. I like them a lot and with a nice set of koni yellows it would be a GREAT ride.

ok, theres some things that have to be worked out. i just got back from the honda dealer cause my car pulled to the left and had a clunking noise i could see that the upper strut mount was bad, and it also ground 3rd gear. the good news, they are going to replace the 3rd gear syncro. the bad, it seems the person that had the car before i did had it lowered, for some reason they cut the tie rod ends around where the cotter pin secures the nut so theres no cotter pin holding the nuts on the tie rods; stupid why the hell would someone do that? needless to say honda isnt covering the tie rods or upper strut mount under warranty. not only that they must have had a body kit of some kind on it that they took off, when they put the stock stuff back on they didnt do a very good job so the side skirts are about falling off. this sucks, i can fix the suspension myself if the dealer i bought the car from refuses to fix it, they should fix it though it shouldnt have passed a safety inspection with the tie rods the way they are. im kicking myself i should have looked at the car more closely before bought it...errr...
cliff notes:
- bad upper strut mount and front tie rods not covered under warranty, because the car used to be lowered.
- bad 3rd gear syncro that is covered under warranty.
- basically some ******* took off all his aftermarket parts and put it back to stock, which is fine, but they could have at least done it right.

EDIT: Was it a dealership that sold it to you?? And were they the ones who did the inspection, if so threaten to turn their ass in for a false inspection.

i just got back from the dealer i bought the car from, they made a copy of the paperwork that honda gave me and said they would give it to their general manager who comes in tomorrow at 8:30 and he would call me. i told them that the tech at honda said it shouldnt have pass inspection, of course they said that they had nothing to do with inspections and they send them out to inspected. im so pissed this is exactly the reason i didnt want a "new" car. i cant even go to the parts store and get parts they dont have them yet!! i need to fix the front end or its gonna end up fucking up the tires, damn it i feel like chokin a bitch, im trying to stay positive but i expected this kind of shit, its gonna be fixed eventually but damn i could have fixed the crx and saved myself a car payment... :mad2:btlfedgolf;8648 wrote:If you need a monkey to turn a wrench, give me a call I am going stir crazy since I am not working on my car.

i fixed the clunk in my front end woot now it just pulls to the left heres a not so good pic of what some ya-hoo did to the tie rod...

the clunk was the 17mm nuts on top of the struts they were loose about hand tight!!! it doesnt pull near as bad and theres no noise from the front end anymore...
