Oh and better be careful unless that 94 is a stalled cammed geared 5.0L it would be a close race with my automatic cobalt!
Sadly ive had much faster toys the cobalt is a dd that im bored with.

And if thats what he meant should of said it. Yes I did know. But thats beside the point. His car doesnt make the power for anything other than a slightly sticky all season. And Ive owned DRs before. They were on the 89 mustang I had. Did I need them? no. Why did I have them? honestly they were cheap and came on a set of rims I bought.

Now justify to me why a mid 15 second car needs Drag radials?
here is a rundown of what i have since you are so interested...

well the beat to fuck lightweight race car (lol) you're talking about was N/A, stock ???miles block, w/ HCI and went 12.40@109 with a 1.68 on ET Streets.

the 94 is a 5spd w/ 3.73's, stock motor with a few BS boltons, and a 125 dry shot that went 12.75@106 with a 1.81 on BFG DR's

the civic is H22 swapped, still working out the suspension and other details. it will be running BFG DR's when it comes out.

the Hayabusa had Yosh cans, a G-pack, a K&N and went 10.18@138 with a 1.73 on a U-soft Shinko on a stock wheelbase.

If you didn't notice, they thread topic is "quarter mile times"... if you want quicker times, you need tires. maybe he'll go from 15's to 14's? you gotta start somewhere....

zero torque, LS transmission, and potential sticky tires?

I predict a shitty 60'....followed by an even shittier one when he gets tired of bogging like a sumbitch and snaps an axle/fries a clutch. There are plenty of other things to do first that would improve 1/4 mile times.

It is NOT obvious that he, they, or whoever wants to run slow times in a slow car... they run what they have. Not everyone on here has gone out to buy a car to be 12 second cars. They are high school / college students that are just starting out with their cars and wanting to have a little fun and gathering info.

And buy cheap turds that have decent power from the start and throwing on NOSSSSSS maybe isn't an option for them like it is for you.

An LS integra is a slow car... if he wants to run a faster time, he needs more power, better gearing, and whatever else he wants... With his lack of power and the tires you think he needs, he could end up doing his "one tire fire" since they don't have an LSD and then snap an axle, that is if does go anywhere since the slow turd has 1 HOT tire after the burnout that has officially GLUED him to the track itself. :gack:

There was a little bit of sarcasm in there somewhere.
