and you also have to have a firejacket if you have nitrous or a turbo on your car that was not there from the factory.

I think a scatter shield too....at 11.99 or lower.

I've never been "tech'd" on that though.

I'm curious, too. I'd love to see a good representation of imports. I know there are some fast hondas toward KC and I hope they're giving it a shot.

The 'dubs will be out in force:
1-10 sec turbo '86 golf
2-11 sec turbo golfs-'98 & '00
1-12 sec motor '84 rabbit

from honda-tech and nhra rule book:
From the '08 NHRA rulebook general regulations 2:10 last paragraph (pg. 71).

All front wheel drive or transverse mounted applications using a clutch and running 11.49 or quicker, for which an SFI spec 6.1,6.2,6.3, or 9.1 flywheel shield is not commercially available must be equipped with a flywheel shield made of 1/4" min. thick. steel plate. Shield must surround bellhousing completly except for area of bellhousing adjacent to differential and axle shaft. Shield may be multi piece, w/ pieces bolted together using min. 3/8-inch diameter grade 5 or M10 class 8.8 bolts; may be attached to engine or bellhousing.
so you could probably just make one with 1/4" stock and some bolts. golden eagle makes one, but its $230+ so i think i would just try to get away with making one, if its allowed...
