I'm curious, too. I'd love to see a good representation of imports. I know there are some fast hondas toward KC and I hope they're giving it a shot.Fast S-10;98964 wrote:Did anyone else sign up and get registered for Pinks??

from honda-tech and nhra rule book:rickles8099;98594 wrote:speaking of scatter shields.... does anyone know where you can get one for a d series?
so you could probably just make one with 1/4" stock and some bolts. golden eagle makes one, but its $230+ so i think i would just try to get away with making one, if its allowed...From the '08 NHRA rulebook general regulations 2:10 last paragraph (pg. 71).
All front wheel drive or transverse mounted applications using a clutch and running 11.49 or quicker, for which an SFI spec 6.1,6.2,6.3, or 9.1 flywheel shield is not commercially available must be equipped with a flywheel shield made of 1/4" min. thick. steel plate. Shield must surround bellhousing completly except for area of bellhousing adjacent to differential and axle shaft. Shield may be multi piece, w/ pieces bolted together using min. 3/8-inch diameter grade 5 or M10 class 8.8 bolts; may be attached to engine or bellhousing.
