diy asr brace and got a 22mm rear sway

like the concept, but don't 100% agree with the execution. only time will tell who is correct on whether or not that 22mm will tear the subframe or not. Hopefully, not.

either way, props for at least showing what you did regardless of what people say.

OK first off MATT acctually does look into things before he does them. he may take more time to do so, but there is always a learning curve. I'm sure if someone wants to an asshole about it. and just pick on the guy who doesn't want to follow a cretin set up that everyone is using. it's his car let him do what he wants. you don't have to drive it, and you sure as shit don't have to look at it. also if he fucks it up he can find someone to help him fix it.

Matt the only thing i would change about you brace is to just use it as an adapter not a whole piece of metal. now the asr dose come with months and months of research to prove that it worked. im sure the asr started in the same fashion, and it took time and energy to get it to where it is today.

so when looking for metals next time sometime the cheapest metal out there wont give you the same aspects as a asr thats varies in sized for 1/2" to 1", and when it all put together its over 1 1/2" to 2" thick in places.

the random comment won't mean anything! You would have been better off just to ignore the dumb shit, and keep posting your discovery's of what you have found out. this is what you need to work on. end of rant.
You can talk shit all you want! eventually noone will care about your input. :yo:

I hope it doesn't tear out. That 22 is a big step over stock, should make for good cornering.

Pretty sure it will just bent the factory brackets his adapater brace is bolted to before it would even have a chance to hurt the subframe.
