Why does everyone say that? Are they that bad of a car? Even for daily driving?

I've had mine for 10 years in August and I still love it. As soon as I get sometime to get it running again I'll be driving it a lot more, been pretty spoiled with the BMW though. Gets decent gas mileage and looks better than most Hondas(my opinion).

Unless you see paperwork for the trans rebuild, it didn't happen. Keep that in mind; so many people these days lie about rebuilds. heck, the guy I got my BMW wagon from said the engine was rebuilt 50k ago. I met the guy that owned it before him and he said "Nope, it has 19X,XXX miles on it and I got it from the original owners." Just goes to show you people will lie to make a sale. He had no paperwork so I figured it was a lie and I was right.

They arent a bad car, but the transmission, no matter how well they are rebuilt, are just. Just too much to deal with. That and their silly security issues. Other than that, I love the fifth gen Prelude. My dad has one and its not a bad car at all.
