I've had mine for 10 years in August and I still love it. As soon as I get sometime to get it running again I'll be driving it a lot more, been pretty spoiled with the BMW though. Gets decent gas mileage and looks better than most Hondas(my opinion).Eric C;298533 wrote:Why does everyone say that? Are they that bad of a car? Even for daily driving?

Unless you see paperwork for the trans rebuild, it didn't happen. Keep that in mind; so many people these days lie about rebuilds. heck, the guy I got my BMW wagon from said the engine was rebuilt 50k ago. I met the guy that owned it before him and he said "Nope, it has 19X,XXX miles on it and I got it from the original owners." Just goes to show you people will lie to make a sale. He had no paperwork so I figured it was a lie and I was right.

They arent a bad car, but the transmission, no matter how well they are rebuilt, are just. Just too much to deal with. That and their silly security issues. Other than that, I love the fifth gen Prelude. My dad has one and its not a bad car at all.
