why am i burning oil?
Id say valve seals i had a d16a1 in my old rex and damn it drank oil like gas like a quart a day but it would run half decent as long as you filled it up lol i relplaced them in a simple rebuild along with honing my block, replacing rings and bearings.

I dont believe that its normal(or ok) for a honda to burn a quart every thousand miles no matter who says it. My Ls-v doesnt burn a drop of oil between oil changes, neither did my accord or my old LS civic.
I would say rings or valve seals, take it to a shop and have them do leakdown/compression tests
