I was going to say the same thing. NGK's are best, and pretty cheap too. Same thing goes for the plugs.JustRob;240699 wrote:Wow, everyone tells you to buy OEM or NGK wires and you buy junk that's going to cause the same problem again? Awesome.
Told by who?Teg-Potential;240701 wrote:Just Rob there, with ZERO learning curve. Well i was told those were the better ones over the Cheapest ones. they had to order NGK and would have taken atleast 4 days, i need the car tom.
But yea, idles smooth again now, Pops said could have been the fuel filter, so im checking that next.
Tommy, ever heard of someone ending up with water in there(let alone that much) after a bay detail? seemed odd to me
To be honest I've never had that problem. But at least the engine still looks awesome! lolTeg-Potential;240701 wrote:

I have seen it dozens of times, its not odd at all.Teg-Potential;240701 wrote: Tommy, ever heard of someone ending up with water in there(let alone that much) after a bay detail? seemed odd to me

Figures. Put a set of OEM/NGK wires next to the ones you have. You'll see the difference in construction and why everyone told you to get them. Whatever, not my car. Not my problem. Good luck and I hope your boy at the auto parts store is there the help you when the wire falls apart again. lulTeg-Potential;240713 wrote:Matt at Oreillys. And they have a lifetime warrenty. So not too worried about them braking down the road. But just to put u at ease rob. I'll have them get the price of NGKs. And if there close to $32 I'll return the ones I got and get ngks. But like I said I needed it now.
And Tommy, couldn't agree more. Regardless of what happens atleast it looks good lol
It has nothing to do with resistance. It's about reliability.x357rq;240737 wrote:man i doubt the ngk's are going to make a difference, stick to what you have. NGK might have slightly less resistance, giving you slightly more spark if your plugs allow...but most likely this will not make more power because your burning of fuel now is probably fine. It's not like you have a lot of mods or anything. That's my .02
