8 tablespoons (1 stick) of butter
1 cup of sugar
3/4 cup of self-rising flour
3/4 cup of whole milk
One 28-ounce can of sliced peaches in syrup, undrained
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put butter in a deep baking dish or pan and place in oven to melt. Mix sugar and flour; add milk slowly to prevent lumping. If lumping occurs use a wire whisk to mix contents. Pour over melted butter. Do not stir. Spoon peaches on top, gently pouring in syrup. Still do not stir; batter will rise to top during baking. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes.
This one is just like the title says, nothing fancy at all... but goddamn I love buffalo chicken, and it gets the job done quick. and it will take longer to read/write this than it takes to make one.
Next time you are at the store pick up a bag of Tyson Buffalo Style Chicken Fingers (pretty sure its fingers.... the BIG strips, not little wings)
Franks Red Hot
Ranch Dressing
Cheese (any kind, but the real "quick-n-dirty" way to do it is plain old American Singles)
Take out 2 chicken strips, put them on a plate, and heat them uncovered for 2 1/2 minutes (depends on microwave). I usually flip them when there is a minute to go, just to make sure the bottoms aren't soggy.
Whil those are in the microwave, grab 2 pieces of bread and put them in the toaster. Toast until they are a nice brown color (should be like a minute, again, depends on the toaster).
flip strips
take bread out of toaster and put the cheese on. I like using 2 pieces, but I'm a fatass, and I loves me some cheese. if only using one piece, put ranch/baffalo sauce on one piece (the "bottom" piece) and cheese on the other.
chicken strips should be done, pull them out and put the bread/cheese in the microwave for 18 seconds. if only using one piece of cheese, assemble the whole sammich and melt the cheese onto the chicken.
remove bread/cheese and sauce it up! Buffalo on one side, ranch on the other. Do it how you like it, only you can tell how big of a pussy you really are.
eat it... and usually I follow that with a nap, thats a lot of work for 3 minutes.
I think a toaster oven would be a great improvement to this process, but if we start streamlining, we are just making buffalo chicken sammiches and that loses the spirit.
This post comes with a guarantee: I guarantee that I don't care what you think about it.
