last midnight madness i went to i was spinning through first and second and running 109mph on street tires. i just ordered a set of mickeys from summit a few minutes ago, hopefully i can get my times to match my speed at the next one

eh i would say low 15's most ek coups with STOCK swaps usually only run 15.5-15.1 Blakes was the fastest coupe i have seen so far locally without going internal.

now if you have something internal done to your motor and can get traction yes i could see high 14's but josh's hatch was pretty gutted with a solid 60' foot and he was running 14.8's (sirii b16 swap)

I'm hoping for some good numbers this year. I'd like to see mid-high tens before the season is over. :drive:

josh told me his best time was a 14.3 with that set up in his hatch. he said he knew a guy with basically my setup(b18b w/ b16 tranny) that ran a 14.6. i was thinking low to mid 15's too but sat night i got beside my buddies 01 mustang GT steeda at a light and i stayed right beside him till we shut it down at about 80 or so. he told me he shifted out of first a little early tho. i spun quite a bit so i know i need to work on my launching but i think i can do a high 14 with a good launch. i know talk is cheap but im going to gateway with a couple friends in june so il see what i can do then.

it's all good not trying get your hopes down .. just being a little more realistic .. and josh's car NEVER ran that fast n/a he probley would never has gone turbo if that was the case lol.

and the track is the end all .. get some times and post them up .. i wont be at the track till the red hatch is done .. so say about 3 weeks and we will see if everything i did made a difference
