who got theirs already? i got my $600 today. woooohoooo!

IRS rebate disbursement schedule announced

The Internal Revenue Service today announced a direct deposit and mailing schedule for economic-stimulus rebates to begin going out in May. The schedule is based on the last two digits of Social Security numbers used on tax returns. On joint returns, the first number listed will be used.

“Taxpayers must file a 2007 federal tax return to be eligible for the economic stimulus payments,” said Sue Hales, an IRS spokeswoman in Chicago.

Taxpayers also can calculate the amount of their stimulus payment on the agency Web site, www.irs.gov.

The schedule of payment dates and Social Security numbers:

Direct Deposit
May 2: 00 - 20
May 9: 21 - 75
May 16: 76 - 99

Paper Check
May 16: 00 - 09
May 23: 10 - 18
May 30: 19 - 25
June 6: 26 - 38
June 13: 39 - 51
June 20: 52 - 63
June 27: 64 - 75
July 4: 76 - 87
July 11: 88 - 99

so you only get 300 unless your married with kids? i dont quite understand this.. i should be getting at least 600 i thought
