youtube video playing problems

Not just youtube but any videos on the internet I cannot play. (Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.) That is what it says were the video should be playing. I have already downloaded the new verison and it still wont work. Very agravating! Thanks for help!

what is a os browser? internet explorer 7?

OS is your operating system(windows XP)
Browser is your internet browser(IE7)

Assuming IE7 try
1. Select Tools > Internet Options.
2. Click on the Security tab.
3. Click the Custom Level button.
4. Scroll down to the Scripting section.
5. Select Enable for Active Scripting and Scripting of Java Applets.
6. Click OK.
7. Select YES if a box appears to confirm.
8. Click OK. Close window.
9. Reload page.

have you checked to make sure that you have java downloaded and its installed and running properly?
