Came up with a new drink last night, Tom and I have been trying different Mojitos and for those that know me it was only natural for me to eventually include Mountain Dew.

You need a decently tall glass.

- Put 1 fresh orange wedge at the bottom, NO SKIN! (mountain dew contains concentrated orange juice as an ingredient so the orange was the perfect choice, will eventually try it with a lime like traditional mojitos)
- Next put in 6-7 fresh mint leaves.
- Crush the orange and mint leaves up in the glass, this is the most important step of making it, I ended up using the handle of a kitchen knife sharpener because I didn't have anything else to crush them with.
- Fill glass with ice.
- Fill 1/3rd or 1/4th of the glass with Bacardi Rum depending on how strong you want it. (we went with original, not bacardi O)
- Fill the rest with crisp canned Mountain Dew and mix it well and enjoy!

I used no sugar because Mountain Dew already has tons of it.

I call it a Mountain Mojito.
