Advice! Keep Integra or S13
I am only talking from 100% complete experience, not at all any kind of "he said she said" or even "my friend...blah blah blah". I owned a Prelude Si for over a year, and currently own a Civic Si, as well as currently owning my Nissan. I love my Nissan, and i will admit an Integra is a "nicer" car. It will have a bit nicer fit and finish, when taken care of properly. One of my girlfriends had a 99 Integra that was immaculate and it was a really nice car! But i sure as shit wouldnt have traded for my Nissan
But on the other side, Integras can be rough as shit, i've seen some REALLY poorly modded and not taken care of integras ride worse and feel worse than any 240 race car i've been in.
Its up to you man. RWD + boost is just more fun to drive...period. Who doesnt like doing donuts in a parking lot? drifting or not, RWD is just more fun, And you wont have as hard of a time hooking up at the track.
I pulled a 1.9 60' on OEM 205/55/16 all season tires with stock suspension in my SR car. Parts are cheap, they are easy to work on, and they are more fun to drive. +1 for nissan.
dont get me wrong though, i LOVE my Civic hatch, its a life saver on gas, and it can fit all my mountain bikes and climbing gear in there etc...

Can't really argue with Kyle because he has experience with both, but I will say that if you sell your really clean DB8 for that bucket of a 240 project you posted a link to you will be sorry.

I will also agree with that. If you want something comparable to your current nice ass Integra, spend some time and fine a NICE car to start with. Or just switch to an S14, because they are easier to find in nice condition, and well taken care of.SikofFalln;106733 wrote:Can't really argue with Kyle because he has experience with both, but I will say that if you sell your really clean DB8 for that bucket of a 240 project you posted a link to you will be sorry.
And like i told you on D-STL, find a nice BONE-STOCK car with a clean interior, acceptable miles, and NO mechanical problems first, THEN do a swap to it. Dont buy a swapped car, or someone elses project car. They are selling it for a reason, and you dont want to buy someone elses problems. Thats the only trouble anyone ever has with 240's, they dont start right, and try to fix someone elses fuck up. But a NICE car, and build it yourself, and build it the right way.
BTW, i <3 Trost.

i have had experience also. ive had my 240sx for almost a year (shy 3 months) and didnt do to much to it but oil changes and tranny fluid flush... ran great the whole time. never broke down on me once. made it from ks the 1st time i got it since i sold my ek in ks and bought the s14 on the way back lol... but it was reliable as hell. and if u get into drifting its even better! but the choice is yours.. only difference for real from a honda is its cheapest coilovers are like 1000 and you will see parts are a lil more expensive (imo) but keep ur gsr. like chris said its unique! and u can find a cheaper s13 that 4500 running the stock motor with small upgrades man!!

True and thank god you own such a nice 97-98 (?) 240sx, but he asking about the 89-93 240sx. Let's do a little experiment with my friend N.A.D.A.ZenkiS14;106726 wrote:Your a moron, you've obviously never owned a 240.
I added some variables like mileage 100,000 for both vehicles. That is being mean to a 98+ integra, and nice to the 92 240sx.
98 integra gsr 4 door N.A.D.A. value is $7,425
92 240sx se coupe N.A.D.A. value is $3,200
So $4,225 is the difference, that's a lot to spend on performance parts. But this is a good time to remind people no matter how much cool shit, jdm fronts, or engine swaps you have on/in your car it does not make it worth anymore money. So if you feel like taking a risk of losing about $4,200 if you wreck your car, then I say go for it, bro.
your locally famous internet superstar.... RESPECT

i beg to differ. My car blue books for 32xx (96 240 with 123k miles), but I could easily get 11-12k for it tomorrow.Nat X;106765 wrote: But this is a good time to remind people no matter how much cool shit, jdm fronts, or engine swaps you have on/in your car it does not make it worth anymore money. .
However, anyone that mods a car as an investment, is a moron also. Modding and racing a car, is like riding a rollercoaster, spend all the money you want and enjoy the shit out of it, but know that your never getting it back.

I daily drove mine snow/ice/hail/rain/everything for 3 full winters, and never really had a problem. I ran Blizzak snow tires for those 3 years, and raised my suspension, and removed my front lip, and i never once had a problem going anywhere.bildo16;106783 wrote:240+Snow=???????????

it doesnt really matter what you post on this subject. rwd cars are not good in the snow. especially rwd coupes that dont have much weight over the axles. even in rain they can become unpredictable. my cousin had a FC that spun out making a turn from mexico road turning on to bryan road, decent tread on the tires, and we werent going any faster than normal. its fact. :cheers:ZenkiS14;106785 wrote:I daily drove mine snow/ice/hail/rain/everything for 3 full winters, and never really had a problem.
