Mainly about retrofit conversions..and who here has done an actual conversion rather then just an HID kit.

I don't really know to much about those, I just have a plug and play kit, and the beam pattern is decent on my stock housings.

The info I was reading about these on a site really talked highly about doing a retrofit conversion if your stock lighting wasn't originally HID..They provided pictures and definitely everything looked better doing it the "right" way. Sounded expensive so therefore anything expensive, I like to do it right the first time. :PDT_Armataz_01_34:

Yep I'd do a lot of research before you do anything. There are a few places that could do the retrpfit for you with one of there cores and send those to you and you send them back you're stock pieces, you just have to look for them.

What do the plug-and-play kits consist of? Just the ballast and the bulbs?

Basically. Very easy install. Like I said in the PM, HIDs in your stock housings would still be a major improvement, projector retrofits just take it to the next level, you really don't NEED them. I don't have projectors with mine. (mine is factory with HIDs)
