i had them removed and it hurt like a motherfucker.

Mine didn't hurt when I had them taken out. I had all four done and the worst part was having to rinse with salt water after every meal.

When I wax in boot camp, at 19 all of mine were in, and I guess the corps has something against wisdom teeth because they took EVERYONES teeth, lols I didn't have any pain or swelling, and was back at it the next day. I kept the whole bottle of pain pills I got and have them somewhere to this day. The dentist told me that the teeth aren't really used, and they just cause problems.

Get them cut out. it isn't that painful at all, you'll just be groggy for a day or two. I was eating solid food the next day. Any pain you have from it, the hydrocodin will knock out. I thought the worst part of it was the constant tatse of blood in my mouth for a while.

This is true. Just get them yanked. Take a couple of days off and do it. I had mine yanked and I only took one day off of school. I was even awake for the whole process. I didn't feel a thing.

mine hadnt grown in yet. they were taking them out because i was supposed to get braces, otherwise i wouldnt have needed them out ever because they wouldnt have bothered anything. they had to cut my gums around them and take rip them out. my face was swollen for a week and i couldnt eat solid foods for a couple days. so i guess the amount of pain depends on how far along they are
