so this is like the first year in like 10 years that breaking benjamin wont be there!!!!!!

pretty much the reason i stopped going to pointfest.

I might end up going just to see Serj, Atreyu & Killswitch...other than that just like every other Pointfest its going to be disappointing.. The need to bring in some real bands in and not just radio friendly bands.. Not a fan of radio at all!

well, it is a radio station sponsored event... obviously they will bring in 'radio friendly' bands

Im glad someone has common sense. A few of the bands arent played on the radio. Just go. lol

That sounds like one of those Scene kids mentality. "Every band that gets signed to a record label is selling out and I wont listen to them anymore"

problem w/ the radio is every band sounds the same, which makes sense cuz once music companys find something kind of hit, every other music company trys to find a band that sounds excatly like the "break threw band"..

Belive me I understand how the ideal works, and how they pick artist that are "kid friendly" and try to make their listeners happy,which is probablyages between 15-24.. but I just wish they would chose atleast one band that doesn't get played on the radio so the listerner can maybe get turned on to something new.. like Clutch.

If i get a free ticket though from my brother, i'll probably end up going just for the bands I listed above, but mostly cuz Atreyu puts on one hell of a concert!

clutch sucks. all of the bands were once unsigned and working their asses off to get where they are now. they are good, hence why they are on the radio.
