Well this was passed to me for a semi entry level person. If you are interested let me know. The job would most likely be contractor with right to hire.
We are looking for a data analyst with Oracle experience. He/she doesn’t need to be an Oracle DBA, but rather have a fair amount of experience with Oracle. Additionally, .net would be a plus.

ok to decipher all that technical mumbo jumbo what they are saying is, "You're going to be our help desk biotch. You will troubleshoot issues, answer phone calls pertaining to technical issues and you will be traveling sometimes."

They usually wont quote anyone for a payrate for "negotiation" reasons. If works with them because they know how much and the maximum they can pay but will not tell you. You usually have to give them a payrate and they'll negotiate from there, usually they'll throw you the smaller number first. A lot of people feel intimidated when talking about payrate and they know this when hiring.

I'm a computer nerd so to speak and been around the help desk environment for quite some time. If you really want to learn computer tech savvy stuff i can help ya out. I am certified: A+, Network+, Security + and CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associates). So i do know what i'm talkin bout. I just couldn't stand the help desk role any more as it got annoying troubleshooting peoples stupidity.

Let me know if you really want to learn computer shat, i've got all kinds training materials for a lot of stuff.

This is not fully a help desk job, you will not be the users bitch, we have Tier 1 and Tier 2 for that. You will handle very high end issues, as well as be software development mainly using .net to create data adapters.
