Anyone ever have a driving with a suspended license fixed?

My friend has, and he has his licenses back now, cost him around $250 w/ court cost and everything...he lost his for 6months...but that didnt stop him from driveing :lol2:

wow thats cheap, did he have a lawyer or what?

my brother got two in one month, they dropped one and after lawyer fee's and court cost came out to about 750 bucks, but thats in illinois, and another thing, in illinois, you haveta get manditory sr22 insurance if you get a suspended license ticket, makes no sense at all

yes he did...if I remember correctly they took his licenses cuz of 4 tickets and the possession charge.

it's all wipe away now, he has a clean slate.. it might be a lil more than $250 , but not much, I'll ask him how much it was 2nite.

Edit: $250 just might be the lawyer cost... but I know it wasn't over $500.. still pretty cheap.

i heard if you drive on a suspended in missouri, depending on the judge, its anywhere from a night in jail to 1 year extra suspension, i havent had mine since march '04. just gotta be careful. its gonna cost me about 5K to get mine back

Yea you prolly have incorrect info. I already talked to her, but just to fill in what I had to do since I just got a driving while suspended taken care of. My lawyer fees were $200. My ticket was reduced to illegal parking with no points and they fined me $405. Then I went to the dept of revenue and got reinstated which costs $20 and got my license back. So grand total was $625 for me. I've had it back for only about a week now and damn it feels sooooo good.

i think that is just on a dwi suspension... i could be wrong though...

dwi's just depend. its kinda sad but my dad just had to deal with one. my family is always in trouble with something. lol. he got it suspended for a few months, but was allowed to get a permit to drive to work after 30 days. and he was put on 2 years of probation.
