your car do what you want with it... but i call dibs on the slips
S2K's are a hell of a lot of fun in nice weather but a pain in the ass in crappy weather so make sure you do get that beater for my own personal experience, even though my beater still needs the damn tie rod in so I can take it in for an inspection. It is still sitting in front of my house and I still can't find the damn tool. Autozone had it but did not have the correct socket for the end. So yeah sorry for the rambling but my point is if you have an S2000 the beater is very valuable. Just out of curiosity anyone have a tie rod end tool???????? PM me please.

The skunk 2 manifold blew out a brass insert while he was driving it home and started overheating.
i read that some of the skunk2 manifolds had this problem before i actually bought mine, so before i installed it i put a little bit of jb weld around the coolant fitting just in case. the manifold has been installed for over a year without an issue.
bingo!!!! im not the only one but like i said i have parents down my neck saying i just need 2 get it runing blah blah and i wish i had the time to finish this and do it right but i dont

yeah idk what the problem was, everything hooked up good, then minus the coolant leak, there were no other leaks i could find, but it idled like it had a vacume leak. i hope i dont have this much trouble with mine....

well... if the brass fittings come out, maybe you should check the seals around the bases of those? maybe that is where your leak is coming from... easy way to check is to spray something like carb cleaner around all of the fittings- if idle changes, you found a problem.
also, i assume you made sure all of the gaskets were sealing tight? no little pieces of the old gasket left over that would create a highspot. the carbcleaner trick from before works here too.
