did you reuse your old TB gasket? I don't see why you give up yes the car runs like crap but hey, I bet there are some people on here who could try to figure it out. I would be more than happy to come out and help you this weekend, that is if you haven't already put everything back to stock.

read this and check it against what you did... dont know if it helps, but worth a shot http://www.jdmuniverse.com/forums/view.php?pg=skunkim
if that doesnt work:
remove parts you dont need
reinstall the factory parts that are still work plenty well on your motor/set-up
stop crying

I tried to help tonight alittle bit, the IACV is working properly as is the map sensor.
When you start the car the idle is perfect, but when you tap the gas it doesnt idle just right.......if you tap the gas to say 2k then the engine will rev to that.....then back down to about 800 then back up to about 1500 then back down to idle at around 800.
The skunk 2 manifold blew out a brass insert while he was driving it home and started overheating.
I brought a 99 civic ex to reference all the hoses and connections to but he didnt want to do that. He just wanted to pack it up and leave it alone. So I dont know.
No Jerry, Dont give up on it over something so little. Fix it and you will be happier that you did instead of selling it
