New Roller Hockey Thread

I need to buy blades. Sports Authority got any decents 1s? I got like a $40 or $50 gift card from there. Also what do you need pads wise to play? All my shit is probably way to small for me. I'm about 70lbs heavier & probably 5-7 inches taller. Haha.

If they sell Mission or Bauer those'll do. CCM and a couple others too. Rollerblade and such brands designed for recreation rollerblading won't do. For pads, if you want everything, get the following: shins (includes knee), shoulder, elbow. Most people play without shoulder and sometimes without elbow (I don't).

i bought this t-shirt type thing with pads in it cause i am not a fan of shoulder pads but i really don't feel like taking a puck to the chest and i always where elbow pads now because i fractured my elbow playing without them

They had a pair of Mission & a pair of CCM. Neither in my size. 11 was the biggest & I wear atleast a 12. I know what hockey skates are though. Haha. I got all my old pads, just don't know what fits. It's all ice hockey stuff. Probably just need shoulder, what about pants?

id go to play it again, they had a few used pairs of hockey pants there for like 10 bucks a pair

I wear Black Biscuit pants...I think they still fit! :\

nothing fancy...i used to sport these massive d-shoulderpads and boss people around all the time, haha. I'm a bit more civil now. I don't do buttpads, that's for sissies.
