I do love the fact though that in all the confusion, Phate saved all the video game systems, Dad found that amusing, lol.Mazkid;88152 wrote:
It was nuts how one second we're having fun playing Xbox and the next we're running scared and confused.

Yeah that was classic. I just panicked, ran out into the street, and almost got hit by your dad backing the Jeep out...I was completely lost in the moment not paying attention and someone said "hey look out" and I saw him headed straight for me. lolsubygrl;88164 wrote:I do love the fact though that in all the confusion, Phate saved all the video game systems, Dad found that amusing, lol.

I'm just glad everybody was ok! Sucks about the Vette...but as I always say...reason to upgrade!
But on a serious note...if you need anything just let me know.

Geee-zuzzz! Man, what bad luck but glad this did not become worse
Where do you start on something like this? Police report, then insurance, then insurance investigators
I'm assuming fireworks are illegal there, and if so, the insurance companies are going to want to find & sue whoever fired them off
Can you imagine ... one bottlerocket and someone is going to throw you in jail?

Fire Aftermath
Sorry to hear house fires are horrible things. A few days back the house about 4 houses up the street caught fire when the owner and his cousin were working on his CJ5 Jeep in the garage and he bumped a fuel line and it caught with the kerosene heater... It's the 2nd house to go up since we moved in in May. The other house was our neighbor to the back. It's some scary stuff I'm glad the only things hurt in the fire were the cars and part of the house. At lease that can be replaced with insurance.

He asked me who that was and told me to tell them sorry. He was just focused on getting the cars out of the way so he could get the coupe out of the garage.Mazkid;88169 wrote:Yeah that was classic. yeah... at 12:00... looking out at the surrounding neighborhoods, you would have thought that fireworks were not only legal but encouraged.GTI-Guy;88207 wrote: Can you imagine ... one bottlerocket and someone is going to throw you in jail?
we were evacuated from the house around 1:45am
but I don't recall hearing any fireworks around the time when the car would have caught on fire... if it was a firework, it must have been smoldering in that trashcan for a good hour+ before we found the car on fire.
