I was reading on Honda-Tech that a stock honda fuel system can handle E85 no problem, you just have to tune for it? If that is the case my all motor build could go a little higher in compression.GUNMETAL SI;88049 wrote:yea it tuned on 93 octane shell. and yea there are places to get e85 here.

yes it can, I run 14.5/1cr on E85 now and my car loves it. You will need a bigger pump, bigger injectors, and tuning.

if you want my opinion... (you probably dont, right? LOL) FUCK E85!! you guys probably dont notice the prices of alot of certain things going up... think hard, youll figure it out..
as for the performance side of E85. i dont like it either. you gotta run 8 1600cc injectors, massive fuel systems, then you have to worry about the amount of ethanol you get in your tank everytime you fill up.. yes its different everytime you fill up.. but yea ive seen some people start making some little dash electronics that measure your amount of ethanol you have in the tank so you can retune for it, etc..
imo, once again, fuck all that. ill run my $4.59/gallon 111 octane race gas (at the pump) and not have a worry in the world about anything. yea a daily driver might be different, but who has 500+whp daily driver ??? (they also have 114 and 118 at the pump here as well)
/rant haha

I dont think JDM parts would be qualified as a trend... theyve always been around. But ls/b20 vtecs seem to be the trend right now.

why is jdm a trend? just bc they always been around doesn't mean they arn't a trend... it seems like everyone wants to be "JDM" have fogs or some kind of parts on their car.... idk i think it's a trend, maybe the new trend will be EDM parts on cars! than I'd be ahead of the game..Phate;88141 wrote:I dont think JDM parts would be qualified as a trend... theyve always been around. heres a trend, people are more and more trying to keep their car clean and buy only oem optional kits for their car, they are staying away from bodykits.
