Somewhat dissapointed with H-Motors

I have recently purchased a B18C long block, from H-Motors online and it has arrived sometime on Friday to my dads friend that owns a shop. We ended up finding out that the motor never arrived with a distributor after my dads friend complaining about not keeping the old distributor (which we did, but he just hasn't seen it).

After further investigation, we found out the alternator wasn't included, too. After I called H-Motors, the person on the other line told me that the alternator and distributor were, in fact, shipped with the motor.

I went today to take pictures of the motor and surely, they both were missing. Yet, the motor was still in its' package and I highly doubt my dads' friend would steal something like that.

I called EBI, the company they used to ship the motor, and asked them if they did anything. Of course they didn't, they picked up the motor, and delivered it, not messing with anything. They also told me it was approximately weighted at around 300 lbs.

When I called H-Motors back, he told me they have pictures for their own record and refused to send them to me without me sending in the pictures first. When I also asked him how much the motor weighed prior to shipping, he kept refusing to give me that information, and constantly was asking me why I need to know that. He told me between 300-350, but would not give me the exact weight.

Hopefully, if no good comes out of this, the motor itself will be in perfect condition. The outside is clean as can be!!

So who took the wrapping off the motor and discovered the alt. and dizzy were missing?

Sounds shady. I would take plenty of pics and document when you call and whom you've spoken to.

We gave him the thumbs up to go ahead and do it, and see in what kind of condition it is.
