i broke my right leg wednesday night. fell down some stairs. gotta get surgery on it and get some screws and plates put in it in 2 weeks. the doc says i probably wont be walkin until around st patricks day. fun stuff

Keep your chin up. I broke my foot, fibula, tibula, and tore ligaments in my knee in July. I did 8 weeks of PT and got rear ended and reinured the day after I was done. I have surgery again in two weeks.

yeah, the tibia, and fibula are the ones i broke too. your STILL dealing with this shit? that sucks bro. i always took my mobility for granted. im really wishing this hadnt happened to me. i guess it happened at a good time though, i got fired from my job a few weeks ago, so i have absolutely nothing to do. im just wondering how im gonna do any christmas shopping.
if you guys dont have health insurance, GET IT NOW! i predict this shit is going to cost me more than a brand new car......F&^#K!!!!!

Note that it's important to make regular payments of whatever you can afford

Now, for healing ... you may want to research this further, but a combination of calcium + niacin supplements can really accelerate bone healing

in middle october i got hit by a car on my motorcycle. broke my fibula, tibia, femur, and my ankle. i know what you mean about taking your mobility for granted. i just started pt and things are looking on the up and up, but everything is harder to do with only one leg. just do exactly what your doctors tell you to... twice and things well get better.

Yea it sucks.... I'd give everything I own to have never been injured.
