New Crib Construction

Post by g3integragsr »

Mike....a majority of houses these days the basement is poured after the house is framed. This is due to the plumbing in the house and ground undernieth. The house has to be framed and plumbing ran and fitted before pouring the floor and hiding it. Some houses in certian locations dont have the plumbing under the floor for whatever reasons therefore allow the floor to be poured before framing. My dad owns a concrete company so I have been doing this crap forever.

Congrats on the house man. It looks like it's going to be badass. When spring rolls around are you going to seed or sod?

and when are you ordering the Lift for that 3rd. garage bay?

The ceiling is too short for a conventional lift unfortunately. Sod was way expensive so they are providing seed and straw.

yea if there is plumbing needed. you plumb it and then pour concrete and then frame. every company around here does it that way still and always have...never seen that "around here"... alot easier working on concrete instead of gravel. and also helps to have the basement framed before laying the upper floor.

looks great, sept it looks like they dozed every tree when they started. i hate how that looks when a new subdivision is up and there are 5000 3month old saplings.

nice crib tho man:icon_rendeer:
