5K isn't alot of money to spend on any of these three cars. V-tec preludes still hold their value to much, remember those cars were almost 30K when new. Most si civics are still around 8-10K used. So you should get an integra, but it might not be a gsr. My 97 GS is still worth 3500 on paper. A 5K GSR coud be to good of a deal if you know what I mean.

Here's one I'll get boo'd for, but how bout a german design chassis, tuned suspension, great handling, decent brakes, 170 HP with decent torque for $5k

Not thats not a good car but it has to be Honda or Acura because starting in Jan I working for them. It would be kinda stupid of me to drive a ford focus up to the Honda R&D facility.

Back to topic, a co-worker has a 2nd Gen Integra, NO rust, GREAT overall condition, just 80k miles, for sale ... it's a slushbox if that's a problem. Don't know the price, but lemme' know if interested

I agree that you'll be hard pressed to find a GSR, Si, or VTEC Lude for 5k that doesn't need a lot of attention. Be it body work, engine work, etc, something will be wrong for 5k. GSR's ARE obtainable for around that price range if you look though.

I like building my own stuff so I did not vote. I like stupid crap that Honda never made or they didn't import it.
