gateway intl. raceway sucks as always..

yea the track and place itself is really nice, but everything else sucks about it...like i already knew for a long time now. only one good track out of the three in MO, and that is KCIR.

well i dont know how many of you have been to any import faceoff events (IFO)

well for 2008 they are trying to book STL in addition to KC like they always do.

well here is what they said.

Well, we tried booking Gateway Raceway in St. Louis, but track management called back saying that IFO would be a conflict with the other similar type events already booked in 2008... Midnight Madness, Street Legal races, etc., none of which are Import races.

It's all in who you talk to... Example, we tried booking Tulsa for two years but never could get anywhere with the manager. Finally through the help of a Tulsa contact and talking to the owner directly, we were able to schedule.

If racers would like to petition for an import drag event there, please let them know:

Calling them now for you. We will see if there is anything we can do. Trust us, we know how hard getting the tracks you want is.

Should'nt be a conflict with us on our April Date....... or the other things you mentioned

would be awesome to have two IFO events in missouri...because they are fun as hell! so if anyone has any pull at gateway, do something!

Someone should contact Mathew7000 from stlsr, I'm pretty sure he's tight with track management.

Yes I am here and I have no pull I am just a lowly announcer! this isnt for stlhondas..... import faceoff is a national event series..

i really hope ya get this goin here.. because everything else has become domestic dominated.. and i dont see the fun when a 9-10 second mustang races a 16 second civic
