since when is Buddy Club considered an "eBay brand"
buddy club makes good shit, of course it works. i would still opt to use something like a vafc that would actually offer some tuning advantage tho

the only reasons you would need to change your vtec engagement is if you were boosted (lower it for quicker spool up), or raise it for high revving all motor cars. at least hats my opinion on the subject. as far as this product, if you want it buy it, its a good price.

i could see using it to turn vtec all the way up to keep yourself in the low cam (for fuel economy) and back down when you want it to engage again... but unless you are running an ITR tranny and driving a ton of highway miles, i don't think its worth the time to install it

If all this does is change the cross over RPMs then it might cause issues. Your maps on the ecu will be off if you lower the crossover point. This will cause it to run slightly lean(thats bad). If you want to lower the point get your ecu chipped so it at least switches to the vtec maps at the crossover. At the very least get the VAFC and tune it to the lower point. Also keep in mind that more air and exhaust is not always good at the lower rpms. They maje vtec and variable leingth runners for a reason. Vtec is not all about economy(well vtec-e is) in the low end, its about tuning the cam timing to give power in the top and bottom end of your power band. I am googling it now, but I have seen dyno sheets where by lowering vtec and tuning they actually lost power.

when you chip the ecu to run the SC, you can set your vtec engagement point when you tune it... that way you get the most power all around, I wouldn't use a controller to do that

from the research i've found, changing vtec engagement point on stock cams is useless since it's alreayd optimized for best performance from the factory...heard that you should change it when you upgrade valvetrains
