What dealership to get parts from?

Post by 00siandrew »

Here soon Im going to be changing all the belts on my car, including the timing belt along with a water pump and cam seals. Im just trying to save time by asking you guys whos parts are the cheapest. I originally thought they would all be the same when it comes to cost, but I found out it's not like that. Thanks in advance.

Dont buy from a dealership. Go to your local non autozone parts store.

the problem with majestic is the $5 handling fee(on all orders) and then shipping fee on top of that... I just tried to order 2 bolts and 1 nut and the price after all of that was $20! I have had good luck with Huey's, some things I can get for cheaper than Majestic(even without factoring shipping/handling), and some maybe not exactly as cheap as Majestic... but when you factor in shipping/handling, it generally works out to be a better deal.
people complain about their service, but I have never had problems with the part department.

I've had nothing but good experiences with Meyer Honda's Service and Parts departments in O'Fallon, IL. So if you're on the ILL side I would highly recommend them
