Until it's one of your students in a terrible crash.

Some of you may have heard about the 2 McCluer students that were going up to Mizzou this weekend and the driver was making a u-turn and got t-boned. Well the driver was my student, amazing girl who cares about everyone and everything. I don't know how shes doing so i'm kind of freaked out right now. My condolences and prayers go out to her passenger.

It's just weird how you realize things because of something that happens to someone close to you. I hope she turns out ok, because im sure its going to be really hard on her knowing that something like that has happened.

Prayers go out to family and friends.

Wow that blows and once again I will say please wear your seat belts. BTW how do you make a LEGAL U turn on 70? Not trying to start shit I am just confused on this thats all.

+1, so do mine..at least the driver was wearing a seatbelt..but making a u-turn at an interstate..mehh

She was making the u-turn where the median is avaliable for a u-turn.

When you get out of the city areas, there are places that you can make u-turns. But thats not til you get to where it is a 4 lane highway

Yeah thats where is was, in Callaway County.

This sucks not knowing if she is ok or not. Im sure she is but its just a freaky feeling.

O ok wasnt sure there was a legal place to make a U turn on 70, I knew there was the median for Emergency vehicles but not for normal traffic. Regardless it sucks and I hope everything works out for the best for her.

i just heard on channel 11 news that the driver was released from the hospital unaware if charges are going to be pressed or not.
