why my car was always so slow

well i misshifted 3rd real bad last weekend and blew up 3rd gear again, but this was 100% my fault this time. so i thought id get some new parts since the tranny is coming apart again to get more stuff RacerStev treated. im getting a new clutch as well since everyone is saying ive been overpowering mine due to the low trap speeds.

but just got this in today. this right here is the sole reason i have been so damn slow. 24.5" tires on stock z6/y8 gearing redlining at 8500rpms. you can only imagine how loooooooooooooong my gears have been.

by the way... are you running a sprung clutch disc or unsprung?

been on a sprung for a year now...but new one will be unsprung.

i may attend more next year.. i usually stick to KCIR because its less crowded and can get more runs in.
