Understandeble but I love hockey, I must stress the "love" part. Things did get crappy after the lock out, but I think give it a few years and once the NHL sees it needs to back to the old way, it will go.

WOW....I can't believe there are other hockey fans on here besides myfelf, I thought everyone pretty much disowned the Blues because of the lockout. I am a HUGE hockey fan, I am french Canadian, so take a guess as to why I love it, I also played roller in high school and college (won a national championship in Div II with UMSL) and I still play roller and ice to this very day. However, I have never been a Blues fan because I have never liked there choices in players, sure they go out and get a good player (Kariya, Hull, Pronger,...) every now and then, but they don't ever put together a full effort to have a great team, recently they have been rellying on getting older players that are past their prime or at the very late stages of their prime and they get rid of players that go on to have hall of fame careers (Shanahan, Pronger, Hull,...) and I have never believed that they had the goaltending to win a Stanley Cup, they've had decent goalies but no one that can carry a team which is what you need to win a cup. I am however interested as to how they will do this year, I think they will challenge for one of the last playoff spots this year, but they have they're work cut out for them, especially after last night, losing to one of the worst teams in the league in Phoenix. For those who do not like Hockey now because of the lockout and the changes I hope that you give it another chance and go see a game or watch one on TV because the rule changes have made the games a lot more interesting than pre lockout, the game has a lot more flow and less stoppages and it was about time the league started calling penalties, the games pre lockout were terrible to watch, a player couldn't even sckate into the opposing zone without having an arm or stick wrapped around him so that he couldn't move, look up a video of a game on utube from pre lockout and look at how dull and slow the game was. As far as making the nets bigger, I am not in favor of this at all. Sorry for the long rant, but I thought I was the sole hockey fan left in MO LOL

Who did you play for in High School? Im glad you typed that long "rant". I love talking hockey. lol

Oh, and Blake I guess youre right about my High School career. Only 2 blowouts in high school, the other two injuries were outside of those leagues.
