i hydrolocked a d15 last july in my 94 CX. Screwed it over so bad i ended up blowing 3 holes through the block and a big piece of connecting rod. I had a CAI and hit a puddle about 7 inches deep.... It did the job! No more CAI's for me.... over-rated anyhow.

I don't recommend cold air intakes honestly. The extra .7 horsepower that you will never feel on the ass dyno is not worth the risk of blowing up a motor. And besides, its already been proven that with filter and piping upgrades that the OEM airbox is one of the the best intake.

the toyotas intake dumped in the driverside and ironicly i did blow the number four rod out the front of the block, except it was after a long redline-plus battle on the highway duking it out against a brand new zx3 focus... wow im gettin old

Guess I'm ganna have to go K series then. :sighs: lol

But yeah I don't think the extra hp, if any, is worth it. I feel like I've been using the saying 'better to be safe than sorry' a lot nowadays. I feel old and I'm only 17!
