who wants to help me on the new ride this weekend?

alright folks
this is a call-out to anybody that would like to give me a hand with my "new" ride. Some of you know what it is, some of you dont. Justin (Hondachild) has been a great help and we could use some more. here is what im going to be doing this weekend:

removing the seats (rear is out)
removing the crappy carpet (somebody put on non-oem carpet-ACK!)
putting in OEM carpet im getting from the junkyard (after cleaning)
put in new drivers seat and existing passenger
replace the lower section of the back seat
fix the glove compartment(something is wrong with it)

Also, whoever had the car before me had it wired for subs, well the back speakers are not hooked up-can somebody help me with that?(im a noob at car sterios)

also, the car is throwing a check engine light-i think its an O2 sensor(common problem on these car). Also, it has a few lite leaks that should be diagnosed. I plan on getting a complete OEM gasket/seal kit for the car and have it back to stock running condition

So, this brings me to who can help me with this project this weekend(well not all of it LAWL)?

I'm game but what type of car is it, I also can get a hold of a scanner if your car is a 1996(?) and up. I'm Nate pm me, I can only help on sunday, sorry.

sorry to both of you-its quite a bit older (obd0 i will leave it at that)
the car is still somewhat a secret, but you could find out from peeps that have seen it im shure if they tell you

Rob, you seem to know what your doing with most every car you work on, so i would definately let you take a look at the motor and give it a diagnosis. i think i have an 02 sensor issue and maybe a cam seal leak.

obd0... so the scanner is out of the question. Anyways I'm new to the sight and would like to meet some of you guys. I'm pretty good at taking apart interiors I do it for fun and at work.

I'm game too, unless I have some kind of house cleaning project... or I end up working on my own new project :biggrin: I think I would be doing a lot of the same things as you are planning...
