Hey I have a problem with the a/c in my house, my central air unit is dripping alot. It's still working just fine but is dripping water. It's like a cold can of beer left outside on a hot day. I made sure the drip hose was clear and taped up a gap that had cold air coming out with water dripping below it. Also I vacumed up the floor with a wet/dry vac and also stuck the vac in were the drip hose mounts. A lot water came out when I vacumed out the hose mount.
Anyway it would not be that big of a problem if it were in a basement, but I live in a slap house. The leak already ruined a couple of purgo(<spelling?) floor boards, but I have extra. I know that the a/c is just over worked because of the heat, but having to deal with this just sucks. If you have any tips or tricks or know someone who knows someone who can hook it up(BROKE) please help. If not I'm sorry to waste your time.
Thank you for reading.

A/C problem
this happened to me at my old house in tennessee. the ac would leak water and the only solution was to replace the whole unit (it was old). lol
if the ac unit is running perfectly fine, then it is just condensation building up from the mixture of the heat and cold ,which i hate to say is normal depending on where you have your AC unit located at. all you can do is just wait for this damn heat to go and a cool front to come. once that happens, the condensation should stop building up and everything should go back to normal. you can also try and re-route the hose so it doesn't drip onto the floors/carpet.
