What do you suggest for Lowering Springs and struts? Also what do you think I could expect for parts and labor including an allignment? I want to do about a 2-3" drop. (3" preferably) I don't want anything too outrageous but I want crap either.

Are you wanting looks or performance and how much are you wanting to spend?

performance over looks I guess. I found Skunk2 adjustable coil overs for about $325 on their site. I'm kind of estimating about $700 for parts/installation.

3" is not slammin that will probley barley get rid of the wheel gap, your going to need some sort of quality shock/coil over set up if you want that big of a drop.

i would suggest a Ground contol / kyb set up. I have tokikos'... but i just ordered kyb gr-2's to replace thoses because the tokiko's seem to blow fast whn that low.

Your stock suspension should be very similiar to mine, everyone says that anything more than a 1.5" drop will handle like ass on a DC5 chassis. I currently have a 2.25f and a 2.0r drop and my rear is actually tucking so you may want to reconsider a 3" drop. You most likely won't find a good full coilover system (springs and shocks) for less than $700 including labor unless it's used or something. As for lowering springs... everyone loves the Tein S-Techs, they may not give you the 3" drop but they will give you a mixture of a more aggressive look and a little better performance.

I am lowered on Ground Control/Koni and I love them. They ride the best out of any Honda I have ever ridden in!

Well my car is going to be needing new shocks very soon. It's starting to get bumpy. So I figure if I'm going to replace 'em, might as well lower it.

ep3

ok i got an si also, i lowerd mine an 1.5'' and in the back there is NO wheel gap with stock tires but my tires were rubbing the inner fenderwells so i got a smaller tire. now its hard to make it over any thing and i can hardly pull out of my driveway with out scraping. if you went any lower with stock tire size you would have to cut that little lip in the rear fenders so you wont rub.

you may have to look into aftermarket tie rod ends also. lowering ep3 put the tie rods at such angles it could damage your rack.
