they are a closed deck B20...It is very strong, but hard to find parts to boost them. You will also run into the issue of the engine hasn't been produced since 91 and wont be able to find many low millage replacements if you break shit.

If you want a extremely strong block look into the A series.

put a 100 shot on the b20 and then do a swap!!!! (after you blow it)i know a buddy in va that put a 100 shot on his 3 gen lude and it was pretty quick it didnt set any land speed records but it got the job done. I think thats going to be my next project car i dont know why i have always loved 3rd gen lude well that is my 2 cents if anyone cares
