Know anyone that repairs decks??

Post by Dabeastwthn »

I need my deck fixed. It was put together with lag bolts that were too short and came apart on one side. Take a look or show it to someone and let me know what you think. I know it's a long shot but figured I'd rather trust someone you guys know than someone from nowhere!

I can ghetto that back togeather, but if it pulled out like that you really need to replace the post or the board(depending where the weak spot was)

I think you might want to fix/ put in some real braces. The ones held up by the 2x4's would scare me enough to not even walk on the deck.

You don't know what you're talking about. You're not very smart, and the things you're saying are nonsense. And I'm not angry. But you do need to shut up.

The week spot was the dumbasses that built it had lag bolts 1 inch deep in the 6x6 posts!

They're temporary braces. They work fine but I don't plan on walking on it until it's fixed! :biglaugh:

Selling the house in less than 2 years so not an option...this thing would be really expensive!
